LUNACY abounds in Georgia. Coinciding with news that Trump has filed a lawsuit demanding a re-run the election in the state comes a report that one of his most ardent supporters, pastor Darrell Scott, above, used Twitter to advise the sore loser to physically attack the state’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp.

Scott said in December 5 tweet:

The Potus needs to go down to GA today, kick Governor Kemps door in, slap him around a little bit, and make him do a recount of LEGAL votes … and I will accompany him to help get the message across to Kemp.

What do we know of this moron from Cleveland, Ohio?  For a start, he’s “shady.”

RawStory reported in January that:

Darrell Scott, a pastor from Cleveland who is a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, has been running a shady program to help win over black voters for the president that literally involves handing them envelopes stuffed with cash.

Politico reports that a Scott-run nonprofit organization called the Urban Revitalization Coalition has been holding events in black communities in which voters hear effusive praise about the president and then are given the opportunity to win cash prizes.

Second is that he was one of a gang of “high profile” fungelical preachers who gathered at Trump Towers back in 2011, where they were told by the Orange Menace that he intended to stand against Barack Obama, and he asked for their prayers.

We know this because Scott revealed details of the meeting in an interview with wingnut Eric Metaxas, above, in October this year.

Speaking of Metaxas, the loon proclaimed at the beginning of December that Trump won the 2020 election “in a landslide.” As a result, Metaxas forecasted, many will be imprisoned for attempting to steal the election, an act he calls:

The most horrible thing that ever happened in the history of our nation. Thankfully, Jesus is with us in this fight.

That “fight”, according to MSN News, involved “a barnstorming tour of Georgia” by a group of fungelicals this weekend.

Their aim? To press for “biblical citizenship” and “restoration of biblical values and constitutional principles” ahead of the state’s runoff election for its two US Senate seats. Said the organisers:

Georgia has become the center of the political universe, and the body of Christ has the opportunity to protect our God given freedoms for generations to come.

The tour is being led by far-right “patriot” Rick Green, above, founder of the Christian nationalist Patriot Academy (motto: “Igniting a Freedom Revolution in a New Generation of Patriots.”

Other clowns involved in the tour are Christian author and activist David Barton and his son Tim, a minister who runs the activist group WallBuilders with his father … oh, and the deranged former congresswoman Michele Bachmann, who in 2008 declared at a Republican shindig:

The big thing we are working on now is the global warming hoax. It’s all voodoo, nonsense, hokum, a hoax.

Yep. Just like COVID-19.
