Over my time as a Pastor, I have been to my share of Church Business Meetings; and they’re not fun. The leadership spends time acting like a Corporate Board of Directors, and the congregation acts like shareholders, each owning stock in the church.  Churches spend a great deal of time claiming they’re not a business, but still striving to operate just like a business; to be honest with you, it’s so very confusing. Here are five questions I believe a church should never ask themselves, because they are business questions, not church related questions. You may disagree with me, and pushback is fine [let me know in the comments], but I see these questions as rather destructive to the average church.
