My arms wide open, stretching upward, collecting each delicious honey drop of heat

Imagining that all of the world can see me illuminated and radiant in my power

I want to stand in the full light of the sun

My body, each muscle, every pore, my entirety, entirely sun-kissed

Basking naked before my gods, held in perfect love and perfect trust

I want to stand in the full light of the sun

My life, lived out loud, every moment a hot spell even when it’s a hot mess

Understanding that the simple act of being me, who I am, is my birthright
