Kevin DeYoung: We Need “Biblical Clarity” on Manhood & Womanhood

Kevin DeYoung: We Need “Biblical Clarity” on Manhood & Womanhood February 18, 2016

Kevin DeYoung is the Senior Pastor of University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan. A widely-respected pastor-theologian, author, and speaker, he will join CBMW at our April 2016 T4G pre-conference, “The Beauty of Complementarity.” Kevin will speak on “Redemption through Motherhood: Why Caring for Children Is Caring for the World.”

I am eager to hear Kevin speak on this theme as it is very much contested territory. Kevin just wrote a great post at The Gospel Coalition on the subject of Christ interacting with women, and it gives a great sense of how complementarians frame this matter. Jesus is the most pro-woman man who ever lived. Those who truly practice biblical complementarity are truly pro-woman. We’ll hear more about this important theme on April 11, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.

We hope you’ll join us there, and that you’ll richly profit from hearing speakers like Kevin, John MacArthur, John Piper, Al Mohler, Darrin Patrick, Matt Carter, Alistair Begg, and many more. (By popular demand, we’ve extended our free gift of Mohler’s We Cannot Be Silent to all who register this week.)
