DVD Release: The Hangover Part II

Bottom Line: This film is just like the first one. Almost exactly the same plot, but not as funny. That didn’t stop it from becoming a huge megahit. Review here.

The Gist: The wolfpack from the Hangover travels to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding. When they lose the bride’s teen brother and can’t remember the night before, they have to retrace their steps, which leads to an elderly Buddhist monk, Russian gangsters, an ill-advised facial tattoo, and things not printable on a family site.

Verdict: Skip it.

Be Aware: Extremely R-rated, this film pushes the limits, including an extended scene with a transgendered person with both kinds of body parts, shown in full. I’m pretty jaded, and it disgusted me. Absolutely not appropriate for teens or kids, for Pete’s sake.
