Second Trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

The second trailer for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” has been released (the first is here) , showing a bit more about how and why Honest Abe turned to vampire hunting. It had something to do with the murder of his mother.

This movie looks pretty amazing. From director Tim Burton, you know it’s going to be dark and Gothicy (if that’s a word). Plus, it’s such a great metaphor and commentary on the evil of slavery. The movie hits theaters June 22.

‘Bout time the vampires get what’s comin’ to them. They’ve been running around being all dreamy and sparkily and brooding for far too long. I’m with Abe.
