Ten Most Viewed Blogs of 2018 2019-09-08T23:17:28-04:00

As 2019 is getting underway, we thought it would be fun to post a list of 2018’s ten most viewed blogs here on Victorious Living. It is always fascinating, revealing, and surprising to see which of our blogs rise to the top of the list. Relationships are hard. Character is a challenge. Here are the ten blogs that you viewed most in 2018.

1) How Forgiveness Sets Relationships Free

It’s not always rainbows and sunshine. Relationships are hard work. If we’re not careful, we grow to resent the people we care most about and spend most of our time with. In a culture with an absurd divorce rate, it isn’t dramatic to say that many of us feel shackled and stuck in our relationships. This blog is about the power of forgiveness and how it can help unlock the potential of relationships.

2) How To Defeat Porn

Working at a college with lots of young people (and just living in the world), we’ve seen how all-encompassing a struggle with porn can be. It is a strange sort of addiction. Many are trying to get out from under it. And in our experience and observation, there is only one way to defeat porn. It might surprise you. It certainly is a counter-intuitive approach.

3) How Selfishness Destroys Relationships

Every relationship is a team. In 2018, we went through some difficult times as a couple. We experienced a miscarriage, bed bugs, and a lot of difficult circumstances. It is easy to cast your spouse (or friend) as an adversary. The truth is we are in relationship together. Selfishness destroys unity. And disunity is a poison that undermines the nature of relationships.

4) 11 Signs Your Living Outside Your Values

Our values are the things that matter most to us. While most of us claim to be living according to our values, the truth is we are pretty good at self-deception. Here are a few signs you aren’t living a consistent life. And might need to consider a re-adjustment.

5) When Is Quitting Okay

We talk a lot about perseverance here on the blog. It has become a bit of a buzz-word in our society. But perseverance is only valuable if we are persevering for the right reasons. Sometimes quitting is the right choice (though not as often as we’d like it to be). Here are some ways to help discern when it is time to quit and when it is time to persevere.
