As we enter the holiday season with family and friends, we are encouraged to buy gifts, see Santa, and celebrate. Consumerism at its finest hour. I offer a new way of seeing this holiday season. A time of reflection on the past year. A reflection of yourself, and your relationship with the universal principles of love. This is a time marked by Christians, as the moment of the Christ.
In the song O COME O O COME EMMANUEL it simple means, well the meaning of Emmanuel means “God with us.”
So as you reflect on your journey this past year, I ask you to reflect the meaning of “God being with each one us” over this Christmas season. As we reflect on the reflective nature of love within, and how we have brought it out to others.
And I invite you to forgive yourself for the pain you may have caused you. Let the forgiveness be a do over, then start over. This will allow your giving and receiving to really come form the heart for each person in your life. To see them as the Christ nature, whether they see it or not.
