Life in Metaphor

Life in Metaphor March 13, 2013

I once knew a boy who was shy, introverted, and yet highly sensitive to sounds. One day the boy found himself on stage. Stage gave him the opportunity to express and be heard and seen.  Soon the boy would lead.  He continued to act, till one day the boy discovered that life was bigger and yearned to know more. The yearning continued, till one day he discovered it was here. Struggling with simplicity, the boy fought really hard. He argued with what was, wanted it to be different, look different, and yet it wasn’t.  He had heard great sages, teachers, mystic’s talk of this place. Yet he couldn’t handle how simple it was, so he went outside and sat in nature.  Sitting there for some time, a butterfly landed beside him. He became the butterfly and understood.
