Buddy Greene Talks New Album and Orders Breakfast with his Harmonica

Buddy Greene Talks New Album and Orders Breakfast with his Harmonica October 6, 2011

I came across this delightful  interview yesterday via an artists’ network called the Rabbit Room. Buddy Greene has many connections in the Christian music world, and in this interview, he talks with singer/songwriter Randall Goodgame about his latest album Harmonica Anthology and his career as a whole, (including how he came to work with Bill Gaither and some great back-story on how his famous Carnegie Hall medley came to be). Embedded in the story is a video of Buddy ordering breakfast in a fascinating way…

Hie thee to Buddy’s website for your own copy of Harmonica Anthology. Yet another masterful feather in his cap!

Ha! I don’t know if I believe it. Maybe he set it up with the waiter. Or maybe the waiter just guessed and they all pretended that Buddy had had something particular in mind. 🙂 (Such a skeptic I’m being.) But it’s great to watch.
    (Love the phrase “hie thee.”)

  • Oh I’m sure it was set up ahead of time. Though it’s just possible Buddy hangs around that particular place so often that all the waiters have become skilled in the “language.” 😀
