“ A crook who broke into a Springfield church using a cross and stole thousands of dollars in equipment has been forgiven….

At Sunday morning’s service, praise and music echoed as loud as ever. That’s because the burglar returned for forgiveness.

“He wanted prayer. He wanted help so they wouldn’t get him,” Scott (the pastor) said. “And ironically, the name of the church is The Embassy, so we protected him, and today he showed back up to church. We prayed for him. He cried and joined the church.”
