We often make career New Year Resolutions for success that are almost impossible to fulfill. One reason they fail is because they require extreme behavioral change. What if we didn’t have to change anything for unlimited success because we already have everything necessary? Perhaps we just need to use what we already have in a productive way. Many of us suffer from the saying, “Can’t see the Business Forest for the Paper Trees.”  Let’s look again with discerning eyes.

How often have we thought, “If I only had more _____(fill in the blank) or time to _____  (fill in the blank),  I would be successful.  I’m so close!”

What if you are already there, have everything necessary but don’t see it?

With book launches, radio shows, TV Shows, Tele-summits, speaking engagements, and workshops time can be fleeting and a challenge. Thank goodness I don’t have a baby right now, too, but do have an understanding husband.  With so much going on in our lives, what can we do to make the most of it all? How can we bypass more struggle and tap into the success? Tie it all together!

It may be time to bundle small steps into a Big Bow of Success.

Many of us have worked hard to build our platform. We have done everything the success books and entrepreneur Gurus have told us to do to “live our dream.” Many of them pay secretaries, handlers, public relations agents and literary agents to help them.  So, what is left? If we follow their advice our dream can turning into a costly nightmare. Where is the success in that? Look again.  Right in front of you and may be free, or not cost any more than you have already spent.

It is time to put all that hard work to good use in ways for success.

Cooking a meal and creating a career share similar tips, steps, keys and ways to be successful. Like half-baked meals, half-backed careers are pretty useless and costly.

It is also expensive to duplicate products already in your career cupboard.

Imagine that your social media outlets were food in the grocery store that must be sorted to choose the correct items for a great dinner.

One tip most successful promoters share with us is why and how a book is a key to success because it establishes the author as an expert, which opens the door to speaking engagements and collaborations with similar experts. It is acceptable to hook our wagon to their star and bask in their lime-light while building a stairway to success. And it is easier now than ever before in the history of publishing to create a book like an e-book from your small successes that can have a big impact on your career.

Use the steps and keys in this article to start planning your book today.

Then, remember to give a budding entrepreneur a hand-up to pay back the Universe for the help you received because the Universe is always watching and Karma is keeping notes.
