Out of the mouths of babes and infants…….

Tonight I told my kids the story of the man with a garment of camel’s hair otherwise known as John the Baptist. There were two pearls of wisdom from Tamasin- Firstly that John must have smelt really bad and that perhaps the people were coming who also wanted to smell bad!!!

She then said when I asked her if she understood why John didnt think he deserved to carry Jesus Sandals, she said ‘Of course he didnt deserve to, Jesus should have carried his own sandals otherwise he would be being lazy!’
