Bath, Michigan – Bath Consolidated School Site

A lot more macabre and sad, Bath is a small village 6 miles north-east of East Lansing.  May 18, 1927, Andrew Kehoe,  disgruntled Bath resident, blew up the school building and killing 45 and injuring at least 60 others.

Many residences with homes near the site have complained about unusual experiences, from seeing wisps of light, hearing children laughing and playing in the middle of the night, to an over all feeling of emptiness.

The former site of the Bath Consolidated School and its replacement, the James Couzens Agricultural School, is now a Memorial Park. The park is located on a hill at the center of Bath, north of Clark Road, between Main Street and Webster Road.
