Hang In There

I know many of you are so upset that Barack Obama is going to be our President for the next four years. Me too.  However, Mom had something to say about that, which I thought I’d pass on:

America, don’t lose heart. This election is not an “Obama mandate,” nor is it a rejection of conservatism. Unanswered ads like this one running in blue collar swing states defined Romney early on, and the Obama media also piled on with the narrative that Romney would harm the middle class. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.) Ironically, it’s Obama’s socialist policies that will destroy America’s working class as he outsources opportunities.

Hang in there, America.

IMPLOSION (My heart aches for our Great Nation)
An implosion is a deliberate act to destroy, decimate and condemn an unwanted “property”. It is thought about carefully, planned meticulously, and is carefully organized. The head of construction has an idea, and he has a team that conspires with him. They plan every detail. First searching for every weakness they can, and this is where they place their tools to take down the structure.
Instead of seeking out what good is left in the structure, they are sickened by the beautiful and still solid foundation that is there… they want to replace what they see as old fashioned with something bigger, brighter and more modern.
Although there are many in the crowd that love the sense of “home” and nostalgia that this foundation brings, the head of construction ignores the pleas of the crowd as he puts into motion his plan to completely destroy the structure. He forges ahead with fervent intent. He orders his staff to immediately find every weak spot, and this is where he orders that they begin to chip away at the foundation knowing all too well, that once he weakens the foundation, his job will be so simple.
At his order, the structure will fall.
The property I speak of is our great nation…and Obama is determined to bring it down. – May God help us!

He will bring us down and he will make sure God disappears from everything we have. He ruined us in just 4 years and now he has four more to finish what he stared and all those that voted for him will see what he is but it will be too late to take it all back. People are blinded because of his color thats just stupid vote for the right reason not because he’s black he’s also half white HELLO. I feel like we as a nation or doomed. I know a whole lot of people think that too. The middle class are carrying this country and we have no more to give. I can’t even safe any money any longer. My kids are barely making it and they are trying. He cares about nothing but for him self he’s laughing at the idiots that voted him in I’m sure. Another 4 years to take us down and he will DO IT. We’ve been sinking since 9/11 and again since he’s been in office worse then 9/11. He vacations on our money and takes and takes. I pray every day for him and hope it gets what he deserves. He is the worst we’ve EVER EVER had in that office. And I bet if we got some honest people in there to count those votes he wouldn’t of won.

Omg the melodramatic responses are hilarious. Drama queens all of you. How foolish you will look in four years when things aren’t that different than they’ve been. Get over yourselves.

  • http://FB Cricket says

Romney and the GOP threw Sarah Palin, the Tea Party and Ron Paul supporters under the bus….he didn’t have the GOP base support. How could he win!!!

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

    • ralph gapol

Sarah and your self Bristol are huge inspirations and im comforted by your mothers words and only hope things will get better as we head toward 2016!!!!! love ya all ralph gapol from illinois

Amen, we are children of the eternal Lord and King. Heaven and earth will pass away, but his word never will. We do our selves well to prepare for our Lords coming soon. For those who do not believe they will turn on each other in the end so we must pray for them before it is to late, I believe this election showed us the Lord is telling us to humble ourselves and pray so he will heal the land and the hearts of his people to go out a preach the gospel to prepare them all for his coming, for the end of this life will come but the next is eternal.

  • James

God knows what he is doing. The right person for the country won twice. We are in God’s hands even if Republicans can’t see or understand.

  • Merry

Might’ve helped if the GOP didn’t ban your mom from everythjing! Convention etc. They just don’t learn. Made every single SAME mistake from 4 years earlier! The only reason it wasn’t a super blowout in 2008 was because of your mom! We need a true conservative. A contrast. Romney’s a seemingly nice guy but we need a Palin type who would go after Obama. That’s why Reagan won. Palin 2016. Btw, Bristol loved your radio show on Sarahnet!

  • MiddleRoader

Not the slightest hint of conciliation in Palin’s post. She can spin it all she wants, but the American people have spoken. Blaming the media, especially when she’s a commentator on a network that bashed Obama every night, rings hollow and petty. Of course, conservatives should keep on fighting for their principles, but the losing side has to give a little more. That’s the way politics work. The Founding Fathers believed in compromise; the Constitution came about because of it. And you can disagree vehemently with Obama’s policies, but they are not socialist. It’s time to end the scaremongering and exaggeration on both sides and work together to get things done.

      Middleroaders,

And the illigals!!!!! No ID’s in alot of states. Registration taking place after the deadlines even on the
day of voting in Ohio. Legitimate President I think not. And we have Benghiza yet to take care of.
The President should have answered to that before election. I can’t imagine anyone who would
want this man back in!!!! Oh, and we still have to find out about the voting machines that so
conveniently put in Obama when the voters hit for Romny. Wonder why it didn’t work the other
      way.

      • Azaria

There were a number of voting machines that went for Romney when you tried to hit Obama. The videos are on youtube. It was a technological glitch, not a scam.

      • Sheila

Thanks middle roader for a great post. I couldn’t agree more. And contrary to what people, think many democrats want both parties. Neither side has a lock on all the good ideas. We need diversity of opinion without all the silly fear mongering, bring back moderates. Bring back compromise. Get rid of extremists like Sarah Palin who truly only cares about her on fate. She continues to damage the republican brand, if u don’t accept that ur going to keep losing, give her a talk show or something but for your own good walk away from her as quickly as possible. As entertaining as it would be for me to see her run in 2016 I don’t want to see the Republican Party vanish.

      • BlueVA

As I wrote to one of your fellow mourners, Millie, President Obama won in states that required photo IDs. See Virginia and Florida.

  • Azaria

Okay really conservatives you need to get a hold of yourselves. Barack Obama is really not as bad as you paint him out to be. He is left of center, not socialist. Now instead of just bashing him for the next four years, you could actually try to work with him. He’s our president, and he deserves a basic amount of respect.

  • Sue B

Like others said – our God is with us. We need to know our Constitution and not let Obama change it. Even though I was for Romney I believe, now, that it would have been difficult for him to do what he knew needed doing. With Harry Reid still in charge of the Senate and vowing to veto anything Romney offered, it would have been difficult. Now Obama can deal with the gridlock. One thing I do hope, however, is that Obama is held accountable for the horrible job he did in Benghazi. We need to keep after him for that.

    • BlueVA

Good observation, Sue B: “with Harry Reid still in charge of the Senate and vowing to veto anything Romney offered, it would have been difficult. Now Obama can deal with the gridlock.” Welcome to President Obama’s world. What do you think President Obama has been doing for the past four years, enjoying frat parties with Congressional Republicans? Mitch McConnell wasn’t too ashamed to plainly articulate his goals — to make President Obama a one-term president — and he still had supporters who couldn’t see that his brand of gridlock would make life difficult for everyone. Rush Limbaugh said he hoped President Obama failed, and still his audience refused to see how the president’s failure would be everyone’s hardship. The United States of America is everyone’s country. We need to start owning it, first by refuting talk of failure and obstruction, no matter who speaks it. I pray for unification and the wisdom of our leaders this time around.

  • http://yahoo.com millie

And by the way the middle east Russia and other countries of that kind are happy we kept this man.

    • BlueVA

Really Millie?! While Europeans are happy about President Obama’s reelection, here’s the reaction from Iran:

“”Four years ago, Obama … announced he would extend the hand of co-operation to Iran. But he pursued a different path and imposed unprecedented sanctions and it is natural the Iranian people will never forget such crimes.”

      You GOPers should love that.

        Blue,
Name your source where that came from!
