Hang In There

I know many of you are so upset that Barack Obama is going to be our President for the next four years. Me too.  However, Mom had something to say about that, which I thought I’d pass on:

America, don’t lose heart. This election is not an “Obama mandate,” nor is it a rejection of conservatism. Unanswered ads like this one running in blue collar swing states defined Romney early on, and the Obama media also piled on with the narrative that Romney would harm the middle class. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.) Ironically, it’s Obama’s socialist policies that will destroy America’s working class as he outsources opportunities.

Hang in there, America.

Thank u Sarah an Bristol I refuse to watch the news “for awhile anyway :(

  • Kelly

I am so afraid. I don’t see there being an America in 4 years, not one I remember. I have not wanted to go to work the last 2 days. Not sure what to do. Never have I suffered this kind of depression before. I feel we have lost our great country for good.

    • BlueVA

I truly feel for you, Kelly. It must be scary to believe that President Obama hates you and all you stand for. First and foremost, however, you can help yourself by coming to your senses, counting your blessings, and praying for clarity of vision and that our leaders will rule with wisdom. That’s what got me through the Bush years, when in 2006 through 2008 my husband was deployed to Afghanistan (and injured there), my house sat on the market for 7 months and didn’t sell, and my salary was decreased by 8 percent. Life goes on…

    Most Definitely! Thank you.

  • Mike

God bless your Godly family Bristol…Sarah Palin 2016!!!

  • Victor Orozco

Thank You Bristol for this. When I woke yesterday morning and found out B.O. won I was depressed, then I decided to cheer myself up. I bought this black T-shirt with the Gadsden flag embedded on it which I hoped to wear to celebrate instead I walked proudly after going to the gym into my university (liberal institution) to show that as a conservative I was still proud.

So Romney lost, at least he did better than McCain, winning back several states Obama had won before. Plus Obama still has to contend with being John Boehner’s whipping boy.

Funny enough I’m finding comfort in Richard Nixon’s farewell speech. When we lose an election and we feel all has ended, not so. Because greatness comes, when you’re really tested and takes some knocks and some turns because only when you have been in the deepest valley can you know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain. We are in the deepest valley, but we shall be back on the highest mountain.

God Bless You Bristol and God Bless America.

Not true, Victor. I believe the only state Obama didn’t retake this election was NC. There are maybe a couple more, but not several. I also see that the neo-Con blogs are claiming that Obama lost every state in which there was a photo ID requirement to vote. Do yourself a favor: don’t parrot that in one of your classes at the “liberal institution,” because you’ll earn a failing class-participation grade! I’m happy to report that Obama took Virginia, where we’ve had an ID requirement for years and years. I believe Florida also instituted such a law, and that went blue, as well. :)

        BlueVA,
He made sure alot of illigal Latino’s registered and in Ohio they were illigally registering people
the day of the election. His Chicago machine was out in full force. There were people
that said they were again able to vote multiple time.

        • BlueVA

I wonder about YOUR citizenship status, Millie, because your command of the English language is absolutely awful.

  • Rachel

Thanks for the positive words from your mom (love her). It’s always heart warming to know there are others who are like minded :)

  • Pat

I see businesses are already starting to lay people off in anicipation of Obamacare.

  • me

Your mom sure taught you great values. Dropping out of school and getting pregnant is the way to go! Romney sure would have a made a great president except for the fact that he has absolutely no ideals or substance. Only a dying fish flip flops

      Me says,
You have just exposed yourself on how little you know about the people you critize and judge.

      • me

So Millie, are you she didn’t drop out of school and didn’t get pregnant?

        • http://yahoo.com millie

Bristol attended school while she was pregnant. She graduated with honors. She should
be commended for keeping her baby and not aborting it or giving it up for adoption and
          also finishing school.

I recommend you read her book.

YOu guys are such a blessing to our country. May GOD bless you abundantly… America the BEAUTIFUL!

  • Sheila

Sour grapes and sore loser. Your mother rang that bell all by herself with her inane answers to simple questions. Take some personal responsibility Sarah. You could have spent the last several years working in Alaska and educating yourself on the issues. You chose cash. Own it.

    • http://yahoo.com millie

      Sheila,

Again you have no idea what you are talking about. You just spew out what you want.
