A visit with the Red family

It is always a joyful time when the Builders are able to get together in real life.  We have been a support network for so long now, and it is just wonderful that our children are getting to be friends as well.  For my kids, it is a particular blessing to spend time with a like-minded homeschooling family.  There is great diversity in educational styles for homeschoolers, but Red and I have very similar plans and systems, so my kids loved seeing the classroom at their friends’ house.  I think it also helps them to know that other kids have similar expectations for prayer, meal behavior and discipline.  This sort of fellowship goes far beyond what we are able to do online, and I am so thankful for it!
