I recently sat down with Ericka Andersen of National Review and talked about my new book, Cop Under Fire: Moving Beyond Hashtags of Race, Crime and Politics for a Better America. We also discussed a broad range of topics covering Black Lives Matter, how the Democrats take the black vote for granted, fake news, and dishonest reporting.

I’m excited to talk about this book because it gives readers a chance to move beyond the sound bites they know me for. When you’re on a talk show, you have limited time and few words to represent an entire worldview. It’s just not possible to get into every detail about how I came to my personal conclusions. People pick out how I call the Black Lives Matter the Black LIES Matter movement but they don’t really know why. They hear it and write me off as a crazy conservative. But this book will give a deeper understanding of what I’m all about, not just the limited information gleaned through a three-minute television appearance.

So, consider this 20-minute interview with Ericka a primer while you’re waiting for Cop Under Fire to be delivered to your door.
