  1. It’s a lovely song.

    I remember many years ago Ethel Waters was on a daytime TV show, and the hostess asked her to sing “Stormy Weather,” which had been one of her signature songs. She refused, saying that now that she had the Lord Jesus as her Savior, there was no more stormy weather in her life.
