Ordination update: a dozen new deacons for New York City

A reader alerted me to this item in Catholic New York, featuring biographies of the men scheduled to be ordained last weekend.

How’d it go?  Anybody got any pictures?

  1. I see that there were two deacons ordained from St. John in Piermont; I worshipped there for 3 years, from 2004-2007 At that time, one of the deacons from St. Ann’s in Nyack would often be present at St John’s as there were no deacons. Good for them to have two now.

  2. Church of the Assumption in Peekskill is blessed with one of the new deacons, Deacon Carlos Campoverde! Already the coordinator of our thriving Spanish ministry, the grace of his ordination will help move even more people closer to Christ. Hoping to share a picture or two soon.

    Blessings to all!
