“Bethlehemian Rhapsody”

How’s this for a cute riff on the Christmas story: a nod to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but with an evangelical twist.

  1. “I’m just a shepherd, nobody loves me…” :- ) I am reminded of “Between Heaven and Mirth” when I see this… joy at the heart of faith. Seriousness is required but we must laugh too. I thought of that with the beautiful Mary and Elizabeth visitation picture too!

  2. Thank You Deacon Greg. God bless the person who put this video together. The story of course is ageless, and just is repeated here in a joyous way. How could anyone object?

  3. Just for credit’s sake, the band is Apologetix, and they have done scores upon scores of biblical parodies to classic rock and contemporary pop songs.

They are great musicians, funny and creative, and faithfilled before all else.

Honestly, they could use your support right now, as their bus went out, and they are wondering about the future of their music & evangelization ministry. Keep them in prayer, and buy some of their stuff.

  4. Thank you Deacon Greg. I just shared it via email & on FB as well:

The NATIVITY STORY, the story of Jesus, in this 4:46 video is both so creative and adorable!
Set to the oh-so familiar 70’s rock opera tune, “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, with “muppet-type” characters. Hope you enjoy this video parody as much as I did.
Aha! Seems there are links for other “Bethlehemian Rhapsody” videos here too. I haven’t watched any of the others, but I will check them out too.
