“Coming out… Orthodox,” parts one and two.

Really good stuff, much needed. Part one has a meaty paragraph about vocation and how parish communities can foster or stifle honesty and compassion (and I also got a lot from the comment by Pete, at 12.58). In part two, what was most striking to me was the contrast of the metaphor of discovery and the metaphor of integration. Although as a convert I obviously feel the metaphor of discovery pretty strongly, I agree that the second metaphor can be especially helpful for gay/same-sex attracted Christians.
