Phyllis Tickle on “What Advent Means to Me”

A video used to be embedded here but the service that it was hosted on has shut down.

This Advent season, Patheos is delighted to host a new video series, “The Coming of God: Reflections on Advent,” featuring well-known progressive Christians on what Advent means to them. Many thanks to Tripp Fuller at Homebrewed Christianity and Ryan Parker from Pop Theology for producing and editing the series.

In our first video, renowned author, editor and speaker Phyllis Tickle shares her affection and gratitude for the liturgical year, and reflects on “the most grand of the Holy seasons,” Advent.

Check back for new videos throughout the week, and join the conversation by leaving a comment with your own thoughts on what this holy season of Advent means to you.
