Victoria Jackson Says Newtown Shootings Happened Because We Abandoned the Ten Commandments

Comedian and former Saturday Night Live star Victoria Jackson is a Christian and a vocal right-wing activist. While the country was reacting to the horrific murders of 26 people in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday (a figure which included 20 kindergarteners), Jackson chose to focus on anger instead of compassion. She went on Facebook to rant about what she saw as the real cause of the shootings – not a troubled young man, but a country who doesn’t love God enough:

My friend Jim Riley posted: ‘Wasn’t the Connecticut killer just doing what abortionists do every day? It’s a wonder we don’t have more 20-year-old ‘dads’ doing what women and doctors have been an accomplice to for years in America. When you forget the TEN COMMANDMENTS, people, THIS is what you get. Obama dramatically wiped a tear as he said, ‘The majority of those who died today were children – beautiful little kids…They had their entire lives ahead of them…” YEAH OBAMA. SAME AS THE MILLION BABIES YOU HAD ABORTED THIS YEAR. ARE YOU CRYING FOR THEM?! … Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me.
