Church Uses Image from ‘The Walking Dead’ to Promote Their Easter Services

When you think Easter, you probably think of dyed eggs, bunny rabbits, and … zombies? An unnamed church has used images from the TV show The Walking Dead to publicize its Easter services, along with the tag line “why look for the living among the dead?”

As io9’s Meredith Woerner points out, this could totally be fake, since there’s no sign of which church it came from. That said, it’s still pretty funny, and far from the worst appropriation of pop culture by a church trying to be cool and ‘with it’ I’ve ever seen.
