Religion Is at the Forefront in Diablo Cody’s New Movie ‘Paradise’

In Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody‘s directorial debut, Paradise, a young woman (Julianne Hough) finds herself questioning and challenging her Christian faith after she gets in a plane accident. The woman’s name is Lamb, in case you didn’t think there was enough religious symbolism going on here. The movie costars Octavia Spencer, Russell Brand, Holly Hunter, and Nick freaking Offerman, so, yeah, I’ll watch it.
