The Pontius Pilate movie soldiers on without Brad Pitt

Remember that movie about Pontius Pilate that was in development a few years ago? The one that had Brad Pitt attached to star, until he bowed out last year?

Back then, it was reported that Warner Brothers was thinking of handing the project over to Studio 8, a company set up by former Warner executive Jeff Robinov. And now, today, The Tracking Board reports that the transfer is complete.

Apart from that, there’s no real news to report — the project still doesn’t have any stars attached, nor does it have a director — but it’s worth noting that things are still happening on this project, and its producers are still trying to get it made.
