“Mitt Convert” – Madeleine McAulay from North Carolina

“Mitt Convert” – Madeleine McAulay from North Carolina September 6, 2012

When we were at the convention, we saw many people who had come into the RNC as skeptics but left as Mitt enthusiasts!  If you used to be lukewarm or even hostile towards Gov. Romney, but have changed…  we want to hear your story!  Here is second of a series.  The first is here.

Name: Madeleine McAulay

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Occupation: High School

How You Used to Feel (and Why): I though Mitt Romney was a flip-flopper, because according to the media he is. And let’s face it, I was a little skeptical of his faith.

How You Feel Now (and What Changed Your Mind): After chatting with Nancy French, watching several of his interviews, and honestly just a lot of thinking, I realized that he is not a flip-flopper (even Reagan was once a Democrat), and his faith will not get in his way of being a fantastic President (Evangelicals4Mitt helped). By the time Paul Ryan was chosen I was already 100% for Romney, Ryan just added to the excitement! 🙂

Also, as an added bonus, send in a photo of you with Romney gear or – better yet – holding up a sign that announces your (new!) support!  E-mail me your answers using Nancy @ EvangelicalsforMitt.org – with no spaces – and your story can be an inspiration to others who are just now tuning into the political process with the two back-to-back conventions!
