Donald Trump Obliterates Ted Cruz’s “New York Values” Slam January 15, 2016

There was one really great moment in the debate last night that will have people talking for some time.  Ted Cruz slammed people from New York, saying that they didn’t have the same type of values as the rest of America.

Donald Trump obliterated that argument so effectively that even Ted Cruz applauded his answer.  Behold:

As Kevin Williamson wrote on National Review:

National Review is based in New York. Norman Podhoretz is a New Yorker. The New Criterion is in New York. Irving Kristol was a New Yorker. Milton Friedman was a New Yorker. Hell, Ayn Rand became a New Yorker as soon as she could. William F. Buckley Jr. was a man of the Upper East Side. America wouldn’t be America without New York, or without New Yorkers.
