The Democratic National Convention opens today in the City of Brotherly Love — Philadelphia. Or, I heard it described when we lived there, the City of Brotherly Shove.
Earlier today, Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was booed off the stage. But who would’ve thought that Bernie fans would boo during the opening invocation?
The most ironic part is when she is literally praying for unity as this chaos unfolds:
