Five Favorites, hosted at MoxieWife.com

** I absolutely 100% thought this five favorites thing was on Tuesdays. False. Ah well. We all know why. Because pregnant ladies got brains with more holes in them than swiss cheese. So now you get my 5 favs a day early, you lucky people! **

Hey yo, I’m still pregnant yo. With twins.  30 weeks and 4 days. I’m trying really hard to not spend every waking moment complaining about how uncomfortable my body is, what with the 8 times daily needle sticks, the nearly constant lower back, hip, and belly pain, and my complete inability to bend over or put on any shoes that aren’t slip-ons. Trying really hard. Thus the lack of posting.

But, in the midst of the 3rd trimester, there are some things (other than these miracle peanuts I feel and now see! moving all the time) that have tickled my fancy this week.

1.

Minnetonka Moccasins

I just got a pair of these bad boys over the weekend when I realized that just about all of my shoes (except my snow boots and tennis shoes) don’t actually fit anymore. So wide, my feet are. So, so wide.
Macy’s had an awesome sale and now I get to wear fur lined slippers in public. I win.
2.
Good books. I’ve got a really sweet stack going right now.

Make-ahead freezer crock pot meals
I did a workshop about a month ago with a friend where we made 10 crockpot meals and then took them home to freeze. All one need do is simply defrost the bag and dump into the crockpot when it’s time to make it.  Best idea for busy families ever.
The workshop was part of a party for a company called Wildtree.
Enjoyed it (and the food) so much that I decided to do another workshop all by my lonesome.
I scoured the internets and found The Busy Budgeting Mama and she has a lot of good recipes for doing make ahead freezer crock pot meals.
Not to mention a completely adorable blog.
