The Age Old Question…

The Age Old Question… December 31, 2010

…When building a Lego kit, is it a problem if you have pieces left over at the end?

Hope not.  We just finished our first LEGO kit ever.   (I decided to call it fine motor development and count it as homeschool.  See how easy it is to homeschool?)  Anyhoo, there are more than a dozen pieces that we couldn’t figure out how to use.

What do you do with all of those extra pieces?  They came with the kit, they’re awfully impressive in their own right, and maybe they’ll be useful later.  Do you just keep a bin around with leftover parts?

……………………………………………..

As we wind down 2010, I find myself feeling mighty grateful.  For so many, many things. Right now, I’m grateful for all of you who read and respond and cheer us on.  It now looks clear that we are going to make it through the school year.  I’m even kind of looking forward to Homeschool 2011.

So here’s wishing you a wonderful New Year.  I’m praying that you make it through 2011 with peace and grace and all of your extra pieces – the ones that don’t quite seem to fit, but are part of the package nonetheless.
