Open to your input

Today is not perfect. But it is here, and it is what you have. So work with it. No, things won’t fall precisely into place. There will be interruptions, frustrations, discomforts and inconveniences. And yet, in spite of all that and more, there is opportunity. Today holds great opportunity because it is in the process of unfolding, and you have a very immediate and direct influence on the way it unfolds for you.

Much of what happens today will be out of your control. However, you have complete control over what you think about it, how you feel about it, and the way you respond to it. That makes all the difference in the world. Instead of seeing yourself as a victim of circumstance, you can choose to see the positive possibilities in every turn of events. Instead of worrying about what might happen, you can choose to express and fulfill your intentions no matter what happens.

This day is open to your input. As it unfolds, you can choose what it all means for you and you can choose what to do with it all. You can be certain that it won’t go exactly the way you thought it would. Yet you can also be certain that you have the power to make the best out of whatever way it goes.

Sure, at the first sign of trouble you can sit back and complain about what a lousy day you’re having. Or, you can choose to be thankful for whatever life brings, and then step forward and make it into something great.
