The Hazelip School of Theology and Missio Alliance
invite you to participate in a conversation forum with
noted scholar and author Dr. Scot McKnight. The
event will focus on McKnight’s recently published book,
Kingdom Conspiracy: Returning to the Radical Mission of
the Local Church.

Join us as we discuss important questions like…
• What is the purpose and role of the local church in
kingdom work?
• Should our concern be primarily on spiritual matters or
on social justice issues?
• Are social justice issues kingdom work even if the name
of Jesus is not involved?
• Can kingdom work avoid social issues and still be
authentically Christian?
In addition, join us on April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Swang 108
on Lipscomb University’s campus, where McKnight will
offer a presentation entitled, What the Church Needs Most
Now: A Biblical Vision for Uniting a Broken World. This
presentation is free and open to the public.
Event includes presentations from McKnight and a copy
of his book, plus a panel discussion with local church
leaders.
Box lunches will be provided at the conclusion of the
forum and space made available for participants and
teams to discuss the morning’s presentations and their
potential implications for shaping approaches to ministry
and leadership development.

participate.
