Death is the most decisive moment in human life. It is like our coronation: to die in peace with God.
– Mother Teresa
Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence.

When all the noise is gone there is only God.
The thing I remember most from the night Mom passed was the quiet. After weeks of machines and what not, the house was silent. Sending many prayers and much love to you and yours.
I’m praying for you and your family. For peace and comfort.
Did your mom go Home? ( I can be clueless, so forgive me). I’m sorry, Karen, but am glad about a few things: 1. We know where she is now, and that this separation between you and her is temporary. 2. You have had a chance to share how amazing she was with lots of strangers like me. My condolences. I, too, will pray for peace and comfort.
The quiet is deafening, at first. I have stood in that same place, and you know my heart is with you, and were I there I’d sit with you in the quiet and just let you be.
Karen – we too are sitting with you in the quiet!
The quiet is very loud at times and there really are no words for it feels almost sacred…the sitting, the waiting, the listening to the clock tick, and the quiet becomes a teacher.
