The Secret Life of Catholic Girls

Have you noticed something… uh… DIFFERENT about Catholic girls?

If you overhear two Catholic girls chatting in the mall, do they chatter about boys and clothes and school?  Or do you hear unfamiliar words like “discerning” and “scapular” and “Holy Hour”?

These young ladies are confident enough to enjoy a laugh over “Catholic talk.”

    No, not for the most part. Other than going to a different church, most of them talk about the same stuff and do the same things as most other girls. Same goes for Catholic boys.

    I totally loved it. I have a scriptural rosary app on my phone. It is prayed by students at Steubenville. It has all four mysteries on it. Many days I’ll pray 15 decades, sometimes all 20. I feel like I’m praying with a devout group. It’s wonderful. No drama, so one can concentrate on the mystery. One verse before each Hail Mary. It has certainly helped me to love the rosary more.
