Saturday, President Donald Trump responded to Michael Wolff’s book, Fire and Fury, by calling himself a “genius.” Today, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham defended this rather non-presidential remark by saying that if President Trump didn’t call himself a genius, nobody else would. Oh, that makes a lot of sense, Mr. Graham. According to that, we all should call ourselves geniuses. As I’ve said before on this blog, I think it better to abide by the biblical proverb, “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth” (Proverbs 27.2).
