Now that all of the questions for the Raised Quiverfull project have been posted in panel form, I am going to post each participant’s story individually as well. Ultimately, if you go to my Raised Quiverfull tab, you will be able to browse either by topic (seeing the full panel of answers for each question) or by participant. This will also be helpful as I add more participants (I will not add their answers to the original panel, because that would become overwhelming and tedious). I will be posting the individual stories over the next three days.
Raised Quiverfull: The Individual Stories
Libby Anne grew up in a large evangelical homeschool family highly involved in the Christian Right. College turned her world upside down, and she is today an atheist, a feminist, and a progressive. She blogs about leaving religion, her experience with the Christian Patriarchy and Quiverfull movements, the detrimental effects of the "purity culture," the contradictions of conservative politics, and the importance of feminism.
