When the Father of Lies lies, he lies BIG

Case in point, this editorial by Scott Dibble, a graceless liar and “Catholic” pol in Minnesota who actually has the chutzpah to claim that the refusal of Catholics to knuckle under to state attempts to force them to provide abortion and contraception against their conscience, get this, “blatantly undermine[s] religious freedom in our country“. Also, the standard buzzword “extremist” is trotted out in order to whip up the troops to do their duty in the 15 Minute Hate on the Catholic Church.

I presume the 30 pieces of silver Dibble was paid for this naked lie will go into his campaign war chest. Because he is at war with the Church, along with the rest of the God King’s stooges.

Nancy Pilosi(Democrat) in a recent interview with the Washington Post—

“…But the truth is what I said. I’m a devout Catholic and I honor my faith and love it…but they have this conscience thing,” she said. It is this “conscience thing” that puts people at risk, she apparently believes.”

    Apparently she has no conscience.

I think we should consider the possibility that this woman is just an airhead.

With “friends” like this….who needs enemies?

  • Where is this guy? I live in Minnesota, and will call the local branch of the albino Opus Dei ninjas to deal with him.

My only thought is “So what?”

Scott Dibble is an openly-homosexual member of the Minnesota State Senate: http://www.senate.leg.state.mn.us/members/member_bio.php?mem_id=1010&ls=#biodetails

Is he really saying that Catholics should ignore the moral teaching of the Church with the childish reasoning of “Everyone’s doing it”?

I expect his next column will accuse the Pope of being a “hater” and urge Catholics everywhere to stop paying any attention to the “old white men in Rome” (many of whom are not white) and just gleefully sing “Born This Way” (Lady Gaga) as the entrance procession in “Services” (sic) in Catholic Churches.

Why not send a Christ centered message of hope and love to State Senator Dibble? Deacon Allen has linked his Dibble’s legislative web page with his email. I sent something simply mentioning that I was disappointed with his editorial, that he seems to be inverting the phrase “freedom of religion” – historically, protection from government in our beliefs rather than guidance from God’s appointed religious authority. I also mentioned that I was not happy with implying that somehow bishops are getting rich off the widow and orphan with their oversight of catholic charities within their dioceses.

I think it’s important that we tell him that we are praying for him and that we ask him in good faith to examine his conscience, meet with his spiritual director for confession and re-convert to the classical faith of our fathers.

Perhaps if enough of us write a quick note in charity, this man more fully cooperate with the grace God is trying to bestow in him.

The theological issues notwithstanding, it seems very odd that these “Whole Foods” progressives are perfectly fine with public financing of a foreign substance that women injest to disrupt the natural workings of thier bodies. Why not, then, public financing of sugar for diabetics, booze for alcoholics, and heaven forbid, salt and cholesterol for everyone else?
