Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

An old classmate/friend’s relative and relative’s friend have gone missing in Texas. They were last heard from while at a bar having drinks with a stranger. I ask for prayers for their safe return and that they be found quickly.

Father, hear our prayer through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for them!

Another reader writes:

Two things. First, I wanted to thank you and your readers for your prayers regarding my date last week. It went very well and we are planning on seeing each other again, so we will see what happens.

Second, another prayer request. My great-aunt is back in the hospital. She is in her late 70s and has struggled with lung issues most of her life, and also battled cancer for the past few years. Right now she has pneumonia and a collapsed lung. This woman has been the matriarch of my dad’s family since his parents died over a decade ago, and is truly a living saint. Prayers that she recovers, and stays with us happy and healthy for a few more years, would be deeply appreciated – and if that is not God’s will, that she receives the grace for a happy and holy death, and that the rest of us receive the grace to bear our loss with strength and courage.
