Oh. So. True.
That was hilarious! And so, so true. My kids never get tired of talking about how lousy that movie was.
Oh, please. While not the best in the series if one can check his cinematic snobbery at the door, it is actually a decent film. The only kids in my household who dislike the film are my teens. But, they are typical teens in that they are asserting their individuality by turning their noses up at just about anything they used to love.
A lot of people, myself included, simply did not like that movie. At all. I don’t think that makes us snobs . . .
Of course, nothing will ever beat The Last Airbender it terms of extreme hype followed by colossal letdown.
I’m an average moviegoer and not a film snob by any means, but even so words can barely begin to express how utterly disappointed I was in Episode 1, AKA the Boring Menace. Heck, I even went to the midnight movie premiere (me being a big Star Wars fan and all before watching the accursed Episode I). In fact, I spent several days complaining about how much the movie sucked, how the acting sucked, how midichloreans were the stupidest movie idea in the history of cinema, and how I wished I could rip Jar Jar Binks apart in the bloodiest way possible. “Decent film” my patootie!
I agree it’s not the worst film I’ve ever seen, but it’s still the biggest cinematic disappointment of my life. 🙂

This is so very very true! Thanks for linking.
