Monster to Frankenstein National Committee

Monster to Frankenstein National Committee July 25, 2015

“I will be with you on your wedding night.”

The impressive thing continues to be watching American Movement Conservatism, which is *entirely* to blame for the creation of this Monster, trying to figure out a way to escape its sick love for him while blaming somebody, anybody, else for its own nihilistic and depraved acts.  It’s the liberal media’s fault!  He’s a Democrat mole! It’s anybody but us that has created the huge dilemma we are in and turned this gross lout into a folk hero our extremely scary base adores!

Here’s how it’s done, GOP:

I confess to almighty God
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done,
and in what I have failed to do;
through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;
therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Something along those lines would be good. I realize you are a secular party and some of that Catholic and Christians stuff is more than you can stomach. But something where the Party of Personal Responsibility tries the novelty of, you know, taking responsibility would be a refreshing change of pace. You might even ponder the possibility of reflecting on *why* you have made the choices you’ve been making over the past decade or two and consider the possibility, not only of contrition, but of a firm purpose of amendment.

Change is, in fact, possible. But it starts with admitting you are to blame for your own incredibly bad choices.
