Today’s Chance to Do a Work of Mercy June 7, 2016

Reader Geoffrey Miller writes:

Dear Everybody,

Blake Rakes is literally my first friend in this life. He used to take care of me when I was a baby. Please donate to his fund to cover treatment of his brain tumor. I couldn’t give much, because I don’t have much. I wish I could give so much more than I did.

Please help out this young father and his family.

May God reward you.

I constantly hear from Libertarians who tell me that a state social safety net robs them of the chance to demonstrate their burning Christian charity.  Since they demand that people like Blake rely entirely on that charity to stave off the choice between death and bankruptcy, they bear a special responsibility to now put their money where their mouth is.

Step up, Libertarians and give generously.  And if you are a normal person, give generously too.

And if you are strapped, or even if you aren’t, please pray for Blake and all who love him.

Thanks!
