Rather than be afraid, Sherry Antonetti has a good idea for this hour… August 10, 2017

She writes:

Not to be nervous or fearful, but the world is full of potential fire right now, and needs prayer as never before.

It feels a bit strange to ask, but I’m inviting people from all stripes of the Catholic Blogosphere to participate in an August 11th day of prayer for peace, not just for the bigger world of nations, but for all of us who happily call ourselves Catholic, and struggle to live it out with everything we have by what we write and how we witness. Free free to write your own piece with probably better eloquence, and invite all that you know to do the same.  The goal is as many of everybody as we can find to storm Heaven and the internet with prayer.

A Plea for All of Us to Pray for All of Us

Imma be doing some fasting and praying like Our Lord says to do in such moments.  If you are up to it, I’d urge you to pitch in.

Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the LORD, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said.
Hate evil, and love good,
and establish justice in the gate;
it may be that the LORD, the God of hosts,
will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph. (Am 5:14–15).
