I’m late to this party but…

Carl Olson’s dead right. Brit Hume’ big crime was that he violated the narrative of our Manufacturers of Culture concerning the separation of Church and Everything. He had a perfect right to express his opinion. But our Manufacturers of Culture live under the growing impression that the media is supposed to be a branch of the State (an opinion shared by many in the State) and therefore that pundits and talking head types are doing something wrong by having religious opinions in favor of Jesus Christ. The agree-upon narrative among ourr Manufacturers fo Culture is, “All religions are equally superior to Christianity and, especially, Catholic faith.”
