Medugorje bishop to Cdl. Schonborn: Thanks for nothing

As I suspected, Cdl. Schonborn’s weird visit to Medugorje was not much appreciated by the local bishop, who has had a world of troubles from the highly dubious people behind this business. Here he is, crying out in exasperation as Cdl. Schonborn bizarrely decides to pour fuel on the conflagration of enthusiasm for this highly sketchy affair. It isn’t very often that a local ordinary feels forced to emit a screech of exasperation at a cardinal. But according to the principle of subsidiarity, the wise course of action is to give more credit to the people closest to the matter (that would be multiple local bishops in this case) than to a cardinal with dubious credential to comment on the whole thing.
