    Arab News shoots down temporary marriages.

    But not Misyar marriages. The article seems fairly agnostic about it.

  2. If you read my article on misyar marriages (third link) you’ll see that misyar is a lot more complex than some people make it out to be. And just because it’s technically legal (fulfills all the criteria of an Islamic marriage) doesn’t mean it’s recommended.
