New Faith@Work Material Posted, with Links

The Faith@Work Consultation is finally up on the site, and tomorrow we will begin to promote it more broadly and invite visitors and participants.  Please go to the Gateway home to check it out.

Leading off is an excellent article on business education (and the important question of what business is for) by John Terrill, and a meditation on the effect of perspective on our work life by pastor Galen Dalrymple.  More new material will go online tomorrow.

Also, however, I was cruising through the articles at, a site that is contributing some content in future days and weeks, and came across a meditation by the estimable Mark D. Roberts that served, I thought, as a nice complement to Galen Dalrymple’s meditation.  Check it out here.

About Timothy Dalrymple

Timothy Dalrymple was raised in non-denominational evangelical congregations in California. The son and grandson of ministers, as a young boy he spent far too many hours each night staring at the ceiling and pondering the afterlife.
In all his work he seeks a better understanding of why people do, and do not, come to faith, and researches and teaches in religion and science, faith and reason, theology and philosophy, the origins of atheism, Christology, and the religious transformations of suffering
