    A new pope receives practically universal acceptance before anyone even knows anything about him. No matter how big the crowd, there is no disorderly behavior. No matter how much I dis Catholicism, people pray for me. They just love you to death.

    If the supernatural were real scientists would have verified it by now. Nonetheless, it is belief in it that makes the world a better place. Everyone in St. Peter’s Square was ecstatic. How can anyone argue that this is not a good thing. If they would just stop making rules for other people….
