Beautiful, Rebecca. I pray that your relative has also found God and sobriety. I’m blessed that I did a few decades ago, and came back home to the Catholic Church several years ago. I found my calling in the Detention Ministry. One never knows whose heart is ready for God’s message.

That’s true Maggie. The secret is never stop praying for anyone. I cling to that. Thank you for sharing this, my friend.

Very touching. Reminds me of Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”
    Coming to Jesus is sweetness.

      “Coming to Jesus is sweetness.”

      True, and beautifully put Manny.

Thanks. I was actually thinking those words this morning while praying before Mass started. Who knew they would fit for a response to that video?
